Discovery Science

The Discovery Science Team is a district-wide group of full-time teachers whose main focus is to provide hands-on science instruction to kindergarten through fifth grade students that complements the core instruction delivered by their classroom teacher. The team provides experiences to enhance the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)-aligned core curriculum. These extended opportunities allow students to engage in science and the engineering practices at a deeper level.
