E-Learning Days for Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20, 2020

Dear Families:

By now you have all been informed that all schools in  CCSD21  will close and initiate E-learning days as of Monday, March 16, 2020.

While it is our hope that we will be able to return to a normal school day by Monday, March 30th, we will need to be prepared that our closure may be longer. CCSD21 will communicate updates via emails, the district website, and social media accounts. 

Here are some specifics related to Tarkington:

• If your child was absent on 3/13, you may make pick up your child’s chromebook and other supplies the teacher left in the office. The office will be open on Monday, 3/16 at 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM.

• Specific classroom assignments will be given by the classroom teacher.  Feel free to email them during the school day if you have questions.

• In addition to teacher assignments, feel free to use this link for other learning resources to do with your child.

Estimadas familias:

Para este momento, ustedes ya han sido informados que todas las escuelas del CCSD 21 cerrarán a partir del lunes 16 de Marzo del 2020 e iniciarán aprendizajes en línea llamados E-learnings.

Mientras que esperamos que regresaremos a la normalidad en cuanto a asistencia de un día normal de clases para el lunes 30 de marzo, necesitamos estar preparados para un período más largo.  El CCD21 comunicará vía correos electrónicos, sitio web del distrito y cuentas sociales en línea.

Aquí hay unos detalles relacionados a  Tarkington:

• Si su hijo estuvo ausente el 3/13,  usted puede recoger en la oficina, el chromebook (computadora) de su hijo/a y otros útiles que su maestra le dejó.  La oficina estará abierta el lunes 3/16 de las 8:30 AM hasta las 3:30 PM.

• Cada maestro asignará diferentes actividades. Siéntase con la libertad de enviar un correo electrónico durante el día escolar si acaso tiene alguna pregunta. 

• Adicionalmente a las tareas que asigna cada maestro usted puede accesar este enlace  link para obtener diferentes recursos para su hijo/a.
